Mahindra Heights is a 25-storey residential development in Tardeo, Mumbai. The conception endeavours to give a special emphasis on the dynamism of the form. The building has a streamlined, contemporary persona – it combines a rectilinear and a curving profile. The building has a clear concrete construction with sleek and unornamented form. The profiles of the openings are mostly rectilinear, but some fenestrations that manifest themselves in inclined clusters on the curved extruding part of the building are rather captivating. These random groups of inclined lines like fissures are known to have created a new and unusual aesthetic expression.
The sole means of embellishment was primarily the play of these profiles in openings. The development consists of 42 tastefully designed 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, and a penthouse. The 2- bedroom apartments measure 134 sq m and 3-bedroom apartments are about 178 sq m. The 41 apartments and a penthouse have well designed interior spaces with marble flooring in the living, dining, bedroom and bathroom. The development has a swimming pool and health club on the 23rd floor. The car park is housed in the podium.
