Dosti Acres is a residential complex set in Wadala, in central Mumbai. In the beginning, the client was very keen on a low-rise development; as a result the initial scheme consisted of a series of 7-storey structures along the periphery of the site. Later, the architect convinced the patron to explore higher structures, which gave rise to the central clusters of 14-storey blocks. This cluster is set on a 1-storey podium and is bestowed with a large central green area.
External features of the building like low-pitched red roof tiles and arched entryways are reminiscent of a Mediterranean architectural style. The clubhouse is set along the edge of the road, to allow easy access to outside visitors. It includes saunas, jogging track, tennis and badminton court, volleyball court and skating rink.
